PlaX Adopted in ROUVER

2026.03.05

Bioworks’ plant-based next-generation synthetic fiber, PlaX, has been adopted by ROUVER, an outdoor knitwear brand developed by MARUSHO KNIT FACTORY, a long-established knit manufacturer founded in 1832 and based in Mitsuke City, Niigata Prefecture.

PlaX is used in three items: the Wool PlaX Cardigan, the PlaX Sheer Cardigan, and the Berg Beanie.

The Wool PlaX Cardigan features PlaX plated with fine 19.5-micron merino wool. This construction provides a smooth, comfortable feel against the skin, while the outer surface showcases the natural luster and gentle warmth unique to high-quality wool. It is an ideal lightweight outer layer for early spring.

The PlaX Sheer Cardigan is available in both a solid color version and a patterned design inspired by Forest in the Mist.

The Berg Beanie, designed with contour lines as its visual motif, is made with 19.5-micron merino wool and PlaX on the inner side. By leveraging PlaX’s functional properties—such as breathability, quick-drying performance, and antibacterial deodorization—it offers a comfortable, non-stuffy wearing experience.

From everyday wear to outdoor activities, experience the plant-based next-generation synthetic fiber PlaX firsthand through ROUVER’s latest collection.
