PlaX Featured in emmi
The next-generation plant-based synthetic fiber PlaX, developed by Bioworks Corporation, has been adopted for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection of emmi, a women’s brand by Mash Style Lab Co., Ltd. known for its daily wear and Wellness & training wear.
Following its use in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter 2024 collections, this season also features product-specific CO₂ emissions analysis and visualization.
As a new initiative between the two companies, a “Green Factory”—a facility that generates approximately 45% of its electricity through self-generation—was selected to manufacture the products.
This has enabled both a reduction in CO₂ emissions during production and the visualization of the reduction rate.
In addition, the companies have launched a Transparency Enhancement Project, disclosing information such as production processes and manufacturing locations.
