Bioworks and Nittobo Advantex Jointly Develop “Double Dot Fusible Interlining” Using PlaX Filament
2025.05.15

Bioworks, Corporation and Nittobo Advantex Co., Ltd. have jointly developed a filament-type “Double Dot Fusible Interlining” using PlaX, a next-generation plant-based synthetic fiber made from polylactic acid (PLA). This marks the first time PlaXfilament has been used in the development of fusible interlining.
Building on the previous development of a spun interlining, this new advancement enables broader applications across a wider range of garments. It is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact in the fashion industry and promoting a circular economy.
