Unveiling PlaX × Acetate Fleece Fabric at Toyoshima Exhibition “2025AW TOYOSHIMA COLLECT”

2025.02.12

At the “2025AW TOYOSHIMA COLLECT” exhibition held by Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. in mid-January, fleece fabric made from PlaX and acetate was unveiled for the first time.

This innovative textile combines PlaX, a next-generation synthetic fiber derived from sugarcane, with Naia™ Renew, an acetate material made from wood pulp and recycled plastics. Co-developed with Meirin Textile Co., Ltd., the fabric was showcased in two variations: tricot brushed and cut pile.

Designed as a functional material with moisture-wicking, antibacterial, and humidity-regulating properties, it is expected to be widely adopted across sports, outdoor, and casual wear.
