Bioworks Wins Prestigious “Impact Award” at ATEC 2024
Bioworks has been awarded the “Impact Award“, the highest honor at the Asia Technology Entrepreneurship Conference (ATEC) 2024. The company also received the Sustainable Future category award at the competition, organized by Asia’s largest university alumni-driven startup platform.
ATEC is Asia’s largest university alumni association-led technology conference, founded by graduates of Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, MIT, and Hong Kong and South China universities.
The annual ATEC-sponsored startup competition aims to foster innovation across Asia by actively engaging alumni in the startup ecosystem as mentors and investors while highlighting promising startups.
This year’s startup competition, ATEC2024, nominated 106 companies specializing in AI, deep tech, smart commerce, and healthcare.
Bioworks was selected as one of the 16 finalists after successfully advancing through the preliminary and semi-final rounds.
At the final event, held in Hong Kong on Friday, December 6, 2024, Bioworks won the Impact Award, the top prize, as well as the Sustainable Future Category Award.
