As plants are organics, they discharge carbon dioxide when being burnt. However, carbon contained in plants is derived from carbon dioxide absorbed from the atmosphere through photosynthesis during the growth processes of plants. Therefore, the use of plant-derived plastics will reduce greenhouse gas.
- Contribution to economy (high functionality and burnable waste)
We successfully developed plant plastics with functionality (heat resistance, impact resistance, and flame resistance, etc.) comparable to that of conventional plastics. Also, our proprietary technologies retain a high degree of biomass components, allowing for their disposal as burnable waste.
